Nancy loves her animals. She has enjoyed her horses and loves her dogs. Nancy volunteers at Pet Allies in Show Low a couple of days a week assisting in the clinic. She helps with surgical packs and assists with recovery as needed. If you are in need of a pet, just visit this "no kill" shelter for your next four-legged family member. They are just waiting to find their forever home!
Meet my sister, Janet Knight. She is an artist from North Carolina. Janet does awesome work as you can see below. I enjoy art by working through photos and she takes photos and paints them. Here is her information. Feel free to contact her for commissions!
Nature, landscapes and architecture are the themes in North Carolina artist, Janet Knight’s work. She applies realism, expressionism or abstraction creatively to her paintings using mediums whether they be acrylic, collage, watercolor, graphite or pastel. She is versatile with a brush, pencil and palette knife. Janet works daily in her sanctuary, Crazy Cat Art Studio, in her home. She is a retired school teacher and has been painting since 2000. About Nancy
Nancy is an active individual who loves nursing, photography, flying, and music. She is originally from Greensboro, North Carolina. Nancy has lived in the southwest for many years including Arizona several times in the past. She recently returned to the Show Low area which she loves for the four seasons.
Nancy is a retired nurse of over 40 years and loves animals. Having had 11 horses and many dogs, she enjoys volunteering at Pet Allies a couple of days a week. In her downtime, she enjoys photography, drone flying, and playing handbells as a soloist for churches and community groups.
Photography and flying have always been an important part of her life. She became a nurse, then was excited to begin flying as a flight nurse. Nancy also received her private pilot's license, and then turned to drone flying to integrate her flying with her photography.
Before getting more involved in drone flying and photography, Nancy recently retired from nursing where she held several leadership positions in Healthcare Management and also worked in flight nursing, ICU, Emergency Department, and Surgery for over 40 years. She has also proudly served her country as a Captain in the North Carolina Air National Guard as a flight nurse.
Her love is helping others, making people laugh, living life to the fullest, and of course, ringing handbells, taking photos, and flying her drone. Nancy and her husband share a small Ranch in Linden with six miniature dachshunds.
